Hey guys, here are some new pictures from the first two rounds of the playoffs. The farther we go the more opportunities we have to try new things in the Benny department. So far it’s been a lot of fun playing with different ways to fly around the arena and with giant banners. Special thanks to Hall Flying Associates for your amazing work. For those of you lucky enough to get tickets to Wednesday’s game 2 vs. the Heat, I will be flying with our biggest banner yet. Don’t miss it (you won’t) 8 wins down, 8 wins to go.

Well hello Playoffs…

Well hello Playoffs, nice to see you again. Do you mind if we stay a while this time? Yep it’s that time of year again, when the weather gets warmer (nope) and we have a
low seed hoping to steal a game in the playoffs (nope again). Well, I guess one for two is ok.

In the playoffs you can expect to see me wearing all red jerseys the whole game, flying around the UC from random ropes and wires, spilling 2-3 bags of popcorn a game, more trampoline dunk team shows, more t-shirts and yes, more cow bell. I’m working with our flight team on a new stunt that we hope to debut during Game One of the second round, so stay tuned and keep your eyes up!

The team has grinded their way to a 2-0 start and we’re hoping for more success (with less difficulty) down in Indiana. Good luck guys, I’ll be waiting here when you get back with orange slices and juice boxes.

Benny™ in D.C.

Today I’m in Washington DC as the Bulls are presenting our elementary school fitness program “Energizabulls” to Congress. Last year we received a grant that allowed us to expand the number of schools we are in around the city. This demonstration is to show them how the program works and how we used the funding. I will be leading 4 sessions of various workouts with local school children through out the afternoon, and then balancing the budget before dinner. How? Because i’m a super genius. (false)

Hey now, I’m an All-Star

All Star weekend (actually felt like a whole month) was full of the usual celebrity sightings and huge crowds. Security was tight. So tight in fact that one of our own brethren got locked out of the building pre-game while he was doing an appearance, and wouldn’t be let back in because he didn’t have his pass around his big fuzzy neck! True story! Some highlights were wrestling with Lenny Kravitz, briefly wearing Mark Wahlburg’s son as a hat, feeding cotton candy to Justin Bieber, getting sucker punched by Dwight Howard and throwing a fist full of popcorn at Cee Lo Green’s big bald head. It was awesome to see Derrick introduced as a starter, and even more incredible to see how humble he was and continues to be. It’s going to be a great 2nd half of the season.
